JOB SUMMARY
The Electronic Security Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security equipment. This role delivers high-quality technical solutions and services to customers while ensuring reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair burglar alarm systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, patrol tour systems, automatic gates, and other related security equipment.
- Inspect sites, liaise with clients, and conduct accurate surveys to determine security requirements.
- Examine systems to evaluate performance, diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Ensure job requests are attended to promptly and completed without unnecessary delays.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service and maintain a courteous, professional attitude at all times.
- Ensure clients’ premises are left clean, safe, and secure after every intervention.
- Adhere to operational procedures and complete all required documentation, including Technical Intervention Reports, Survey Sheets, and Commissioning Reports.
- Take responsibility for assigned tools, equipment, and vehicles and ensure their proper use and care.
- Request equipment and supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure availability of required items.
- Coordinate with management and colleagues to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
- Stay up to date with new products, systems, and industry developments.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum School Certificate (SC).
- Certificate or diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is an advantage.
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role or within the electronic security field is a strong advantage.
- A valid driving licence is an advantage but not mandatory.
SALARY PACKAGE
Rs 20,000 to Rs 23,500, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a private pension plan and private health insurance.
